Ralf Schneider (Dipl.- Kfm.)

With his extensive experience Ralf is a trusted partner in the German and worldwide insurance community for complex losses.

He has worked on numerous business interruption cases with industry-wide repute, both in Germany and overseas.

Ralf joined the forensic accounting practice in 1990. With his expertise he was decisive in the growth and global expansion of the office.

His knowledge is highly sought after for speechs, seminars and training events.

He is currently board adviser to the BTE and a FUEDI European Loss Adjusting Expert.

Ralf speaks German (native) and English fluently.

Sandra Wessels (Dipl.- Volkswirtin)

Sandra has been with Schneider-SET since 2007 and a partner since 2012. Her professional experience in this field dates back to 1997.

The focus of her work is medium sized enterprises and multinational corporations specialising in international value chains. She has extensive experience in a variety of industries including chemicals, pharmaceutical, automoative and the energy.

Sandra has worked on numerous major industry losses in the past years.

Further she has conducted training for insurers, brokers and other companies in Germany and China.

She is fluent in German (native) and English.

Nicholas Herrmann (BCom/BA/CPA/ publicly appointed expert)

Nicholas has been at Schneider-SET since 2013, becoming a partner in 2020.

Prior to this he worked 10 years for a German car manufacturer in Europe and Japan.

His industry experience covers small and medium sized enterprises as well as multinational corporations in the areas of consumer goods, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, aeronautics, automotive, energy, electronics, paper and steel.

Nicholas was admitted as a CPA in Australia in 2019. In 2022 he became a publicly appointed expert for BI and stock losses with the chamber of commerce and industry in Berlin.

He is fluent in English (native) and German.

He has conducted seminars and training in Germany, Europe and Shanghai.

Elena Weise (Dipl.-Betriebswirtin)

Elena is head of administration at Schneider-SET since 2011. She is a partner of Schneider-SET GmbH since 2020.

Elena has been able to develop a deep understanding of the requirements for effective claims handling through over two decades of experience as the head of international claims at two major German insurers.

Elena works closely with our clients to ensure that our processes meet their requirements in terms of data protection, IT security and compliance.

Elena speaks German (native) and English fluently.

Ute Frein (BCom/CPA/CA)

Ute joined Schneider-SET in 2017.

She worked as an auditor in Canada and has many years of international experience in this field.

Ute has gained extensive claims experience in small and medium-sized companies as well as national and international corporations. Her work includes the investigation of business interruption, cyber, commodity and liability claims. A further focus is on special analyses for state subsidies: e.g. flood aid NRW.

Ute is fluent in German and English and speaks very good French.
